# Copia

> Copia is a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) membership management application built natively into Shopify. It lets small and mid-size farms manage members, run batch billing, plan harvests, coordinate pickup locations, and handle delivery routes — all inside their existing Shopify store.

## What Copia does

Copia is a Shopify app. It does not replace Shopify — it extends it with CSA-specific features. When a member signs up for a farm's CSA through Copia, they become a native Shopify customer. Their data (contact information, payment methods, order history) lives in the farm's Shopify account, not in a separate Copia database.

Key capabilities:

- **Native Shopify checkout**: CSA members sign up through the farm's Shopify storefront. No redirects or third-party checkout pages.
- **Batch billing**: Charge all active members on the same day with one click. Manual or auto-scheduled.
- **Harvest planning**: Enter your weekly contents once. Copia calculates quantities across every share size and subscription type automatically.
- **Delivery routes**: Copia generates optimized delivery routes accessible in the Shopify mobile app.
- **Member self-service**: Members manage holds, skips, and pickup location changes inside their Shopify account. No separate login required.
- **Shopify POS check-in**: Check in members at pickup using Shopify POS. Supports QR code scan or name search.

## Who it is for

Copia is built for small and mid-size CSA farms that already use Shopify or are willing to use Shopify as their storefront. It is particularly useful for farms switching from platforms like CSAware, Barn2Door, Farmhand, or Farmigo that want their member data to live natively in Shopify rather than in a siloed third-party system.

## Pricing

Copia charges a flat monthly subscription fee. There are no percentage-of-revenue fees. Shopify payment processing fees (2.9% + 30¢ per transaction) apply separately and go directly to Shopify — Copia does not take a cut of transactions.

Plans (as of April 2026):

- **Founding Farm**: $29/month — locked rate for the first 10 farms. Includes 50 members. $0.75/member overage above 50. Base rate never increases.
- **Seedling**: $49/month — includes 50 members, $0.75/member overage.
- **Grower**: $99/month — includes 150 members, $0.60/member overage.
- **Harvest**: $199/month — includes 400 members, $0.50/member overage.

All plans require an active Shopify subscription ($29+/mo). No setup fees. Cancel anytime.
