Run your CSA on Shopify

Copia adds CSA memberships to your Shopify store: signup, billing, harvest planning and delivery, with every member a Shopify customer.

Why run a CSA on Shopify?

Your CSA sits next to everything else your farm sells, in the store your customers already know. Same checkout, same customer list, no second store just for shares.

Shopify on its own

Everything a farm store needs.

  • Your storefront, on your own domain, in your brand
  • One checkout for shares and everything else you sell
  • Card payments through Shopify Payments
  • Customer accounts and one customer list
  • Shopify POS at the farm stand or market
  • Subscription apps that repeat an order, and pickup and local delivery for orders
  • Thousands of apps: email, accounting, reviews

Getting started

  1. 1

    Install Copia

Add Copia to your Shopify store and open it from your admin. A setup checklist walks you through your farm, pickup spots and first season, in about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

Create your share as a product

In Shopify, add a product for your share, like "Veggie Box", with one variant per size: Half, Full, Family. Link it in Copia, which reads names and prices from them.

    Share types and sizes
  3. 3

    Open signups

Add the signup form to your product page and give members their My CSA page. Bringing members from somewhere else? Import them from a spreadsheet.
